Appraisals

Need a value estimate for a piece of jewelry? Our highly experienced gemologists are always available to provide you with whatever type of appraisal you may require. We are regularly employed to provide insurance, estate, divorce settlement and collateral appraisals on a regular basis. Attorney and trust department inquiries are welcome.

While we welcome walk-ins, we do appreciate advance appointments for business conducted for attorneys, bank trust departments, and estate representatives or executors. And because we are such a busy shop, for your convenience we suggest you call in advance if you have a number of items you’d like us to appraise.

You can also make an appointment for us to visit your home, office or bank for maximum convenience and discretion.

Formal written appraisals are generated at the rate of $75 per hour with a $40 minimum charge. Most appraisals can be done the same day.  Our experts will not give “while you wait” written appraisals due to liability issues.
